Update from Dairy land

Well, the drive from Utah to Wisconsin was a long one. We hit some pretty rough weather in Iowa but we made it here in one piece! Christmas was wonderful of course. My family is small but we all have our own little personalities that make for a fun time.

A couple nights ago I hit a deer! I guess you're not really in Wisconsin until you hit one :) My husband and I were driving back to my parents house when we were driving on this road that is notorious for having a lot of deer. It flew into the ditch on the other side. I was more concerned for the deer than my car! I didn't kill it because it was struggling to get up on its feet and the next day when we drove by the same spot it was gone. I didn't get a good look at my car until the next day.

We were pretty lucky that it didn't smash into our windshield. This is one of the many reasons why I love Honda and Toyota!

So we took our car into a shop and they don't want us to drive on a highway because the hood might fly up. So I guess we'll be staying here longer than we originally planned. I'll blog again when I know for sure when we'll be home in Utah.

Have a fun New Years everyone!

P.S Our cute blue Honda Fit. I love this car!

Holy Smokes! I lived in New Hampshire during my high school years which is full of both deer and moose. Amazingly I never hit either. I'm the worst when it comes to actually seeing them on the side of the road so I fear someday I may have the same fate. I'm glad you're both okay! Have a safe trip home!
