Out of town...again!

I'll be gone from Monday, March 31st through Saturday April 5th. My husband and I are taking a little trip to San Francisco for an engagement session. Then we're heading down to Chandler, Arizona for a wedding and then up to Moab, Utah for another wedding. It's going to be one long week! We might stop at the Grand Canyon on the way up to Moab too.

Since this is a photo blog, I'll leave you with this one. I don't really play with textures but I thought this one looked interesting of Courtney.

Courtney #2

What a great day! I love bridal sessions and lucky me got to shoot two of them today. Both of them were amazing!

Courtney was absolutely stunning in her wedding dress (custom made by a woman named Penelope. Once I find out more info I'll try to link her). We started at the Hotel Monaco to get into her dress, but since we were there we took some photos. One of the managers at the hotel had to stop and chat and tell Courtney how beautiful she looked. Courtney had her mom, sister and grandma come along for the fun which I didn't mind at all. The more people you have with you the more fun it is :) It was supposed to snow today so yesterday I bought an umbrella. The forecast was wrong, but I still had Courtney use it for a few shots. I think they turned out really cute!

Courtney #1

The reason the title is Courtney #1 is because I'm photographing 2 Courtneys today. I just got done with Courtney's bridals a couple hours ago and will have just enough time to post some favorites before the next bridal shoot today.

I love morning bridals! I wish I could do more of them. It was very chilly today for Courtney's shoot but she still worked it! Her mother told me that she never really liked wearing dresses but Courtney looked very natural and of course, beautiful in her dress. Pretty much every shot I took was killer!

Desi

After Erin and Matt's engagement shoot, my mom and I drove over to my brother's apartment to see my newest nephew, Desmond. We didn't stay for long since little Desi needed a nap after awhile but here are a few of the ones that I thought looked cute.

Tyler and his girlfriend, Hannah with baby Desi.

Erin and Matt

While I was home visiting family over Easter, I shot Erin and Matt's engagement photos in Madison, Wisconsin. The day we originally were supposed to do the shoot, it snowed so much I couldn't even make it to Madison. Luckily the next day the sun came out.

We decided to take some photos inside the Capitol building and outside near the spot where Matt proposed to Erin. We all had so much fun finding cool spots to take pictures down on State Street. We even got kicked out of one building we went into(I guess they didn't allow pictures unless you paid a fee)! Erin and Matt were so easy to get along with and are so perfect for each other. I can't wait for their July wedding in Green Bay, Wisconsin!
