Cassie

Cassie really liked the photos I had taken at the Rio Grande building downtown so she decided to have her bridals taken there. (I wasn't going to object since it is freezing outside!) It took her a little bit to loosen up, but by the end she was totally working it! She was even brave enough to take her shoes off outside and run barefoot towards my camera for one shot. The winter brides are definitely the more gutsy ones(including yours truly).

Emi and Trevor's wedding

It was an absolute joy to photograph Emi and Trevor's wedding. Those two were so happy to finally be married and were great to work with. Not to mention Emi being one of the most beautiful brides I've ever photographed! Only about 15+ people were with them at the temple but all had big personalities which made for a great time and great photos. One of Emi's friends from her home stake in Japan was actually there at the Temple serving her mission. It was hilarious seeing them so excited to see each other. Their reception was at a stake center in Cedar Hills. They played a video about Emi and Trevor's journey and how they met. It was really amazing.

Thanks to Emi and Trevor for letting me be a part of your wonderful day!

A touching moment I caught after we said our goodbyes

Caught this colorful sunset during the reception outside the the stake center.

Lyndsie

I met Lyndsie and her mom at the Rio Grande building in Salt Lake to shoot her bridals today. It is probably one of my favorite places to shoot indoors. The light is so yummy. We had a blast walking around and finding good light and using some off camera lighting thanks to Lyndsie's mom! :) A few of my favorites from the shoot below.

Kayleen and Patrick

I scheduled Kayleen and Patricks portrait session back in the summer! Kayleen had been looking through so many photographers in Utah and I can't believe she picked me to take her and Patrick's photos. I knew she was a "blog stalker" when she gave me a little box of Reese's snacks! She told me she read my blog post 100 little facts about me that I posted back in July and one of them was that Reese's is my favorite snack to spoil myself. I was totally impressed! Thank you soooo much Kayleen and Patrick!

We started their portrait session at Wheeler Farm. I had never shot there before and it might be my new favorite place to shoot! So much nice light there. I found out that Kayleen and Patrick have known each other since 1st grade and got married around the same time my husband and I got married. They like to visit the Clark Planetarium whenever they are in Salt Lake so we went there after to get some fun shots.

Thank you Kayleen and Patrick for such a fun time!
