Michele and Brian decided to have their wedding in Madison, Wisconsin(they live in Alaska!). It was really important to Brian that his grandparents(who live in Wisconsin) can celebrate their big day with them. I loved everything about their wedding. The chapel, the reception, the details, everything! They had their ceremony in a tiny and very old chapel called The Gates of Heaven Chapel. It was built in 1863 and saved from demolition. Thanks to preservation efforts, it is still standing.
Their reception by far was the coolest. It was held at the Orpheum theatre downtown Madison. They had the dinner all set up inside the theatre and even played the movie Top Hat during it all on a screen up on the stage. Candles were everywhere and made for the perfect cinematic setting. Dancing took place in the lobby and people were dancing even when I was leaving to go home!
Thanks to Michele and Brian for a great time and being wonderful to work with!

I heart these! they rock
Oh my gosh. Clearly I'm stalking all your pictures right now, but I adore #1 (with the shoes!), #s 18 & 19 (where they're laughing...so perfectly captures their moment of happiness, and the light in 19!), 35 (beautiful black & white that's just so still and personal), and the last one (37) is just absolutely adorable. Love how she's mid-laugh.
