Chris and Jenna
October is one of my favorite months to shoot weddings. The air is clean and crisp, the leaves are beautiful and the temple grounds are a lot more quieter. I was a little scared about the weather since it has rained pretty much every weekend in October so far. But the skies on Friday were cloudless! Chris and Jenna were wonderful to work with. I could tell that Chris was incredibly happy to finally be married. He treats Jenna like a queen! Jenna had this amazing glow about her all day long and couldn't stop smiling.
Once again I worked with Davey at Pointe Digital. He already has their same day edit on his blog here. I probably watched it 10 times! :)

I love this photo...
This was taken by my dear husband Jonathan who will sometimes grab a camera and snap breathtaking photos like this one. He has been training with me for a long time now and I'm simply amazed at some of the moments he captures. A lot of his photos are on the website and here on my blog. He knows my vision better than anyone ever could and I'm so thankful to have him with me at some of my weddings.
I love you honey!

Jenna's bridals Part 2
We had a bridal redo shoot today with Jenna. She loved her first session photos but felt that the makeup and hair didn't make her look like herself. Either way, I think she looks beautiful in both sessions! At least she gets a good variety of photos. This is why I encourage all my brides to get bridal sessions done. Not only do you get great photos of just you, but you can get a good idea of what you will look like in the photos on the wedding day.
It was threatening rain today so we decided to shoot indoors. I'm so glad we did! The light was beautiful inside. We did end up outside for a couple photos after it stopped raining.
Jenna is getting married next week and I can't wait!
I didn't realize how pretty her eyes were! Definitely proves that less is more!

Happy Birthday, Brit!
I have actually become great friends with some of my brides/clients. Especially Brittney and Michael. You may remember their wedding I shot back in May of this year. Brittney is probably the sweetest girl you'll ever meet and I was glad to have an excuse to see her again when she invited me to her bday party. She loves Asian food so it was no surprise that she chose Teppanyaki in Lehi for her party. And as you all know I just LOVE Japanese food.
I didn't bring my big fat pro camera with me. For once I used my point and shoot(its been awhile).
I love how they make the food in front of you!
Brittney's "birthday cake" made out of onion rings.
Brittney all giddy over her onion cake.
Yay! No boyfriends!
And of course, had to get a shot with the birthday girl
Yes, I have blonde hair now. I'm hoping I can get some new shots for my website. The one with my umbrella will have to do until then though.
Happy Birthday, Brittney!!!! We love you!

Ashley and Billy
Ashley and Billy were married last night at the First Presbyterian church in Salt Lake. I had so much fun photographing it, especially the group photos of the guys and the girls. The bridesmaid dresses were killer and I loved how all the groomsmen had long hair. The ceremony couldn't have been better and so many people came to support Ashley and Billy. They had their reception at a little place called Cucina hidden in the avenues of Salt Lake City. I live just a few blocks from that place and I'm so glad I finally got to go inside. The place was packed with family and friends while Postal Service and Frank Sinatra played in the background.
