Out of town

I'll be out of town from Wednesday April 30th to Monday May 5th. I'll have limited phone access but will have email access. We're going to my home state of Wisconsin to shoot a wedding in Madison. I'm really excited for this one!

Just did an engagement shoot tonight with Kenzi and Matt. We had so much fun driving around Sugarhouse and finding neat spots to take pictures. Here are just a few favorites from the shoot.

Courtney and Jeff Wedding

Courtney and Jeff decided to have their ceremony at the Salt Lake Temple and then a small luncheon after(followed by a reception next week in Colorado). I love how their pictures turned out! The camera definitely loves them!

Jenna and David

I met Jenna and David at Ichiban to start their engagements. David worked as a sushi chef there and was also the place where they had their first date. I was so thrilled to shoot in a sushi bar! I was lucky enough to have some of their yummy sushi too. I'll definitely be going back there very soon! Jenna and David were amazing in front of the camera. They have known each other since Jr. High and their story was really interesting. David's sister who passed away a few years ago made him a bracelet to give to his spouse. I seriously almost cried when I heard about the bracelet. Jenna wore it for a few photos and coincidentally the colors on the bracelet are a lot like the colors of their wedding.

Thank you so much for a great time and for the sushi!

Stacy

I met Stacy and her mom at their house for Stacy's bridals. We originally planned to take them there, but Stacy decided to go to Draper Park(where her fiance, Nathan, proposed to her) shortly after we arrived. I did have to snap one photo of her on their awesome looking couch before we left! Once we got to the park, the sun decided to hide behind the clouds for a bit, making the lighting perfect.
