They say rain on your wedding day means good luck and Shelly and Nick will have lots of luck in their marriage :) Thankfully the rain stopped in time to take portraits outside after the beautiful and intimate indoor ceremony. Shelly and Nick had a non traditional wedding with no cake cutting, bouquet toss, first dance, none of that stuff. Just lots of good food, relaxing and hanging out with their close family and friends AND of course great music to dance to. They had the neatest band play for their reception. There is nothing better than a live band! We had lots of fun at this wedding in one of my favorite places in the world!

A loving embrace right after the ceremony

Had to get a couple shots of Shelly in her glamorous jacket.

These guys were hilarious playing with the crayons.

Out of town
We are heading down to Moab for Shelly and Nick's wedding this weekend. We will not have any email access but will have our phones with us while we are gone.
We took this picture after Shelly's bridals last month. You can totally tell we set the camera on timer on top of our car :) We kept the picture anyway, hehe.

Alyssa and Ben Wedding
The Memorial House is one of my favorite venues in Salt Lake and I'm so glad I got to shoot there again for Alyssa and Ben's wedding. Alyssa got ready at the Marriott Hotel in downtown Salt Lake and arrived in style to the ceremony in a vintage car. I loved that Alyssa chose her grandma to be one of her bridesmaids. That is so sweet! Lots of great moments, great food and GREAT dancing was had by all the rest of the night. It was a blast shooting this wedding. Be prepared for lots of favorites! :)

The best father-daughter dance, ever!
